What is the Meta Box?
The Yoast SEO meta box appears below every post and page editor. It provides SEO and readability tools to optimize content before publishing.
Where to find it:
- Scroll down while editing any post or page in WordPress (Classic or Block Editor).
- It may appear in the side panel as well, depending on your editor setup.
Sections inside the meta box:
- SEO Analysis
- Readability Analysis
- Snippet Preview (Title & Meta Description)
- Focus Keyphrase field
Why it matters:
This is the central control panel for optimizing individual content pieces.
