What is Cornerstone Content?
It’s your most important content — usually long, helpful posts that summarize key topics. Example:
“Complete Guide to SEO for Beginners”
How to mark it in Yoast:
- Edit a post
- Scroll to the Yoast meta box > “Cornerstone content” toggle
- Turn it ON
Why it matters:
- Tells Yoast (and you) to build internal links toward that content
- Helps boost rankings of your most valuable posts
Best practices:
- Create 3–5 cornerstone articles per site
- Link other related articles back to them
