Yoast’s Readability tool ensures your content is user-friendly and scannable.
Checks include:
- Sentence length (keep them short)
- Paragraph length (avoid big blocks)
- Use of transition words (because, however, therefore)
- Passive voice percentage (aim for active voice)
- Subheadings every 300 words
Readability Score Goals:
- Aim for at least 60–70% green
- Yoast shows feedback right below your content editor
Why it matters:
Google rewards content that people enjoy reading. Better readability = longer time on page = improved rankings.
